Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and DreamStori Inc. ("DreamStori," "Narra," "we," "our," or "us") governing your access to and use of the Narra application (including the iOS app), websites, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). Narra delivers personalized spoken content and AI-hosted dialogue based on topics and interests you select. Your use is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which details our data collection, processing with Google Gemini Live API, explicit consent requirements, and third-party sharing practices—including sections that apply specifically to App Store privacy guidelines.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
2. Eligibility and Account
- You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction if higher, to use the Services.
- The Services may associate your preferences and usage with an identifier issued by our systems (for example a server- or device-derived account id) without requiring a Narra-specific password. You are responsible for the security of your device and any optional sign-in method we may offer in the future.
- You agree to provide accurate preferences and optional profile fields you choose to save, to the extent you use those features.
- You are responsible for activity that occurs through your session unless caused by our failure to use reasonable security measures.
3. Free Service Notice
- Narra is currently provided as a free voice interaction application.
- There are no paid subscriptions or in-app billing requirements at this time.
- If pricing or paid features are introduced in the future, we will provide clear notice and update these Terms before changes take effect.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Services in violation of law, regulation, or third-party rights.
- Upload, transmit, or distribute unlawful, infringing, defamatory, deceptive, abusive, hateful, harassing, sexually exploitative, or otherwise harmful content.
- Transmit software viruses, malware, or code designed to disrupt or damage systems or data.
- Use the Services for unsolicited advertising, spam, pyramid schemes, or similar solicitation directed at other users.
- Attempt to harvest or collect contact information or identifiers of other users through the Services without authorization.
- Upload or solicit highly sensitive personal information unless the Services expressly request it.
- Use the Services to generate malware, facilitate fraud, impersonate others, or interfere with elections, public safety, or legal processes.
- Interfere with system security, operation, or integrity.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or use unauthorized methods to access Services content or systems.
5. User Content and License
You retain ownership of content you submit to the Services, including prompts, topics, preferences, feedback, and other information you provide ("User Content"). You grant DreamStori Inc. a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, display, and otherwise use User Content only as needed to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Services, comply with law, and enforce these Terms.
6. Voice Features, Consent, and AI Processing
- Live voice interaction requires your explicit consent. The app displays a dedicated consent screen before any data is sent, clearly explaining that your microphone audio, spoken prompts, and context will be sent to Google's Gemini Live API for realtime processing.
- You must grant iOS microphone permission and affirm consent in the dedicated consent screen.
- We do not collect, store, or retain raw microphone audio on our servers beyond the live session duration.
- We do not create or permanently store transcripts of your microphone audio on our systems (live processing is oriented toward realtime service delivery).
- Narra does not use your inputs to train our own models. We do not use your microphone audio, prompts, or AI interaction content to train, fine-tune, or improve DreamStori's machine learning models.
- Google's use of data: Content is sent to Google LLC via the Gemini Live API. How Google may log, retain, or use that content—including any use to improve or train Google's models—is governed by Google's terms and privacy policies (for example Google Privacy Policy, the Gemini Apps Privacy Notice, and Google Gemini API terms), which may change. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
- To provide AI-powered dialogue and narration, relevant interaction content is sent to Google as described above. By using voice features after reviewing the in-app "AI Data Sharing" screen, you acknowledge this flow.
- By using voice features, you consent to these practices as described in the in-app consent screen and Privacy Policy. You may revoke consent by disabling the feature or deleting your account.
7. AI-Generated Content and Disclaimers
Narra may provide AI-generated content and responses. Such output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your specific purpose. You are responsible for independently evaluating and verifying all output before relying on it. AI-generated content is not legal, medical, financial, mental health, or other professional advice, and should not be used as a substitute for qualified professional judgment.
8. Intellectual Property
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Narra software on devices you own or control, solely for personal, non-commercial use of the Services. The Services, including software, design, trademarks, and content (excluding your User Content), are owned by DreamStori Inc. or its licensors. Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the Services.
9. Privacy
Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which details data practices, explicit consent for sharing voice and interaction data with Google's Gemini AI service, third-party protections, and your rights.
10. Termination and Account Deletion
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time if we reasonably believe you violate these Terms, create risk, or where required for legal or operational reasons. You may clear local app data and preferences using Delete Account in the app Profile where available; for server-side deletion or other requests, contact us as described in our Privacy Policy and below. After deletion, we will delete or de-identify personal information as described in our Privacy Policy, subject to legal, security, backup, and dispute-resolution requirements.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, DreamStori Inc. disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DreamStori Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Services.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, U.S.A., without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us and try to resolve the dispute informally. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the state and federal courts located in Delaware will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer protection law gives you the right to bring claims in another forum.
14. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms become effective when posted unless otherwise stated. For material changes, we will provide notice as required by applicable law. Your continued use of the Services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
